When I heard the sound of these beautiful chords on the Harpeleik Zither, I knew a song would be born. So the melody actually followed the chord pattern, which is highly unusual for me. What I didn’t know was that this song would come to me in the middle of this project – thus, the title song. The whistle helps me weave into the music so many of the feelings I have when I write or perform these tunes that are so special to me.
