My first year at Swannanoa music gathering opened the floodgates of my creativity. Sam Rizetta was my instructor that year, and Jean Ritchie was our special guest musician. Sam had us try to compose the first phrase of a tune to play for the class. In the next five minutes, this tune just popped out and is still a fun one to play. I combined it with my other favorite jig, and just had some fun with them.
